COMMON TURKIC ALPHABET AND PHONETICS OF TURKIC PEOPLES

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of development and implementation of the common Turkic alphabet based on Latin script which consists of 34 letters. The phonetic specialists have described the articulation of the whole composition of the Turkic sounds and compiled a classification table. Experimental application of the common Turkic alphabet with regard to the Kazakh language is carried out. The principle «one sound – one sign (letter)» when compiling the Latin script is proposed.
