Author Guidelines

The publication of materials in the journal is carried out using an online submission and review system. Registration or authorization is available in the section "Sending an article".

Requirements for authors:

  • The Editorial Board of "Tiltanym" accepts previously unpublished articles on the scientific directions of the journal (listed on the website). The article is submitted in electronic format (in formats.doc, .docx, .rtf) ONLY by downloading it through the functionality of the journal's website (ElPub).
  • Font size – 12 (abstract, keywords, literature - 10, table text – 9-11), font – Times New Roman, alignment – text width, spacing – single, paragraph indentation – 0.8 cm, margins: upper and lower – 2 cm, left and right – 2 cm.
  • Figures, tables, graphs, diagrams, etc. are presented directly in the text with the indication of numbering and title (For example, Fig. 1 – The name of the figure). The number of figures, tables, graphs and diagrams should not exceed 20% of the total volume of the article (in some cases up to 30%).
  • The volume of the article (excluding the title, information about the authors, annotation, keywords, bibliographic list) should be at least 2500 words and not exceed 7,000 words.
  • The payment procedure and the cost for the publication of the article is established by the Institute and made by the author after approval by external reviewers and the scientific editor.

Article structure:

First page:

  • The first line is the MRNTI number (in exceptional cases, UDC), the alignment is on the left edge, the font is bold (see http://grnti.ru ).
  • The title of the article should reflect the essence, content of the article and attract the reader's attention. The name should be concise, informative, and not contain jargon or abbreviations. The optimal length of the title is 5-7 words (in some cases up to 12 words). The title of the article should be presented in Kazakh, Russian and English in bold, lowercase letters, alignment – in the center.
  • Author(s) of the article – Initials and surname, place of work (affiliation) (Note: the full name of the university is indicated). country, city (order must be maintained)
  • Country, city – in Kazakh, Russian and English; email address. Information about the authors is presented in the usual font in lowercase letters, the alignment is centered.
  • The hyperlink ORCID ID is indicated below in the center. (Instructions for registration are in the attached files https://orcid.org/ );
  • Abstract of at least 130 words in English, Kazakh and Russian, no more than 300 words in 10 font. The structure of the annotation includes the following mandatory items:
    • Introduction.
    • The purpose, main directions and ideas of scientific research.
    • A brief description of the scientific and practical significance of the work.
    • Brief description of the research methodology.
    • Main results and analysis, conclusions of the research work.
    • The value of the conducted research (the contribution of this work to the relevant field of knowledge).
    • Practical significance of the results of the work.
    • Keywords/phrases – 5 in number in Kazakh, Russian and English.

  • The section "Introduction" consists of the following main elements: the rationale for choosing a topic; the relevance of the problem, the purpose of the study. In substantiating the choice of a topic based on the description of the experience of predecessors, it is reported that there is a problematic situation (the absence of any research, the appearance of a new object, etc.). The relevance of the topic is determined by the general interest in the study of this object, but the lack of exhaustive answers to existing questions, it is proved by the theoretical or practical significance of the topic; the definition of the object, subject, goals, tasks, methods, approaches, hypotheses and meanings of your work. The purpose of the study is related to the proof of the thesis, that is, the presentation of the subject of the study in the aspect chosen by the author.
  • The section "Materials and methods" should consist of a description of the materials and the progress of the work, as well as a full description of the methods used.

o The characterization or description of the research material includes its presentation in qualitative and quantitative terms. The characteristic of the material is one of the factors determining the reliability of the conclusions and methods of research.

o This section describes the degree of study of the problem, provides detailed information without repeating previously published established procedures; uses identification of equipment (software) and description of materials with mandatory novelty when using materials and methods.

o The scientific methodology should include:

o - research question(s);

o - put forward hypothesis (thesis);

o - stages of research;

o - research methods;

o - the results of the study.

  • The section "Literature review" should cover fundamental and new works of domestic and foreign authors, their analysis from the point of view of the scientific contribution of the authors, as well as gaps in the research that the author supplements in his work.
    - It is UNACCEPTABLE to have many links that are not relevant to this work.
  • The section "Results and discussions" as one of the important and main sections of the article provides an analysis and discussion of the research results obtained by the author, scientific provisions. It is necessary to analyze the results of their work and discuss the relevant results in comparison with previous works, analyses and conclusions.
  • Conclusion – generalization and summing up of the work at this stage; confirmation of the truth of the statement made by the author, the author's conclusion about the change of scientific knowledge taking into account the results obtained. Conclusions should not be abstract, they should be used to summarize the results of research in a particular scientific field, with a description of proposals or opportunities for further work.
    - The conclusion should contain the following points: what were the goals and methods of the study; the results and conclusions of the study; the prospects of research and the possibilities of implementation, application of the development.
  • If there are works presented in Cyrillic in the list of references, it is necessary to submit the list of references in two versions: the first – in the original, the second – in the Romanized alphabet (transliteration).
    - Registration of the list of references in Kazakh and Russian according to GOST 7.1-2003 "Bibliographic record. Bibliographic description. General requirements and rules of compilation" (requirement for publications included in the COXON list).
    - Design of the romanized list of references: author(s) (transliteration - http://www.translit.ru ) → (year in parentheses)→the title of the article in the transliterated version [translation of the title of the article into English in square brackets], the name of the Russian–language source (transliteration, or English title - if any), output data with designations in English.

For example: Zhubanov K. (1999) Kazak tili zhonindegi zertteuler. – Almaty: "Gylym", 1999. – 581 b. [Zhubanov K. (1999) Research on the Kazakh language. Almaty: "Science", 1999. – 581 p.] (in Kazakh) The list of references is presented in alphabetical order, and ONLY those works that are cited in the text. You should pay attention! The authors' surnames are indicated in alphabetical order (a comma after the surname is not placed before the initials); after the surname in parentheses, the year of publication of the publication is indicated in square brackets, the translation of the title into English. It is necessary to remove all dashes and slashes (i.e.e. dividing signs). At the end of the link, (In Kazakh) is indicated if the source is in Kazakh and (In Russian) if the source is in Russian, etc. References to the cited works in the text are given in parentheses, indicating the first author of the work, year of publication: page number(s). For example, (Vinogradov, 1991: 25). If there are several works of the same author published in the same year in the list of references, then in addition to the year of publication, the letter "a", "b", etc. is added. For example, (Zhubanov, 2001a: 15), (Zhubanov, 2001b, 22).

Note: bold and underline are not allowed in the article, only italics.

At the bottom of the article, the place of work, university, academic degree, title (if any) and position, contacts are once again indicated.
