Сопоставление системы фонем разноструктурных языков тем самым должно основываться на фонетическом и фонологическом уровнях сравниваемых языков. Сопоставительные исследования фонетической и фонологической систем языков в синхроническом аспекте направляются, прежде всего, на определении сущности этих лингвистических систем в языковедческой науке. Фонетика и фонологии как научные разделы лингвистики определяют объектом исследования одну и ту же единицу – фонему, только фонетическая наука исследует ее физическую сторону, а фонология - ее функциональный аспект.
Сопоставительные исследования фонетической и фонологической систем языков в синхроническом аспекте направляются, прежде всего, на определении сущности этих лингвистических систем в языковедческой науке.
The comparison of the system of phonemes of different languages should therefore be based on the phonetic and phonological levels of the languages being compared. Comparative studies of the phonetic and phonological systems of languages in the synchronic aspect are primarily aimed at determining the essence of these linguistic systems in linguistic science. Phonetics and phonology as the scientific branches of linguistics define the same unit as the object of research – the phoneme, only phonetic science studies its physical side, and phonology-its functional aspect.
